  2. Hope (and other four letter words) about $AAPL App Store by Marco Arment of Tumblr/Instapaper http://post.ly/D50x
  3. All is well in the world. Pau Gasol is back, looks great, Lakers roll the Bulls. Derrick Rose found his shot again, which is great for them.
  4. @sunyata not a programmer but have built enough dev platforms to believe that some of this amounts to web bias v native pgm.
  5. @sunyata sorry, but unclear what asserting.
  6. SO TRUE RT @counternotions: I hope Google does own phone. Finally, we'll see how good it's at design. Apple will love it, as it did w/ Zune.
  7. Daring Fireball's Gruber on Paul Graham $AAPL App Store Essay (not simple case of black/white narrative) http://post.ly/D0VC
  8. @sunyata iphone is a GREAT platform for big/small devs, massive installed base, built in marketplace. essay spotlights real issues, though.
  9. Apple's Mistake: excellent Paul Graham essay on What's wrong with App Store & how tarnished $AAPL dev relations http://post.ly/D0Pn
  10. Daring Fireball: The OS Opportunity - because software differentiation is still name of game (tip @techmeme) http://post.ly/CwlG

  12. Derek Fisher, on the offense, Phil Jackson's coaching style and learning (Los Angeles Times) http://post.ly/Cuk0
  13. RT @pkedrosky: A core news biz problem is that last 2 yrs show you should underweight recency and overweight history. Media does opposite.
  14. The Google Phone Is Very Real. And It’s Coming Soon (will complicate Android positioning) $AAPL $GOOG http://post.ly/CsvJ
  15. @belfastbiker @counternotions I expect platform fragmentation to be a bigger deal for Android devs. Open=support lots of forms, footprints.
  16. @netgarden my point is that we have (slightly) different macro priorities in terms of how the iPhone Narrative plays out. All good. :-)
  17. @counternotions you're champion of the anti-Apple's Evil Meme. I'm looking for game chg app 4 mobile (ala desktop pub). shld be on iPhone.
  18. @netgarden now, may not extend to exp w/ traditional development that top 5% of devs do 90% of compelling stuff, but that's toggle scenario
  19. @counternotions who's arguing that? point of article is that base of devs trying to solve right problem, engage consumers, feel throttled
  20. @counternotions Again, not questioning the plan, Apple's discipline or that there's clock mgt involved, just that Android a closer threat.
