  1. @shiftb Nope, I keep that one in my back pocket.. as close to me at all times.
  2. @shiftb Hahah.. I think there's an "Effective C++" book under there too.
  3. @ryanmcgrath Hah, why yes it does.
  4. @RoboJenny It actually ripped off completely when I tried to pull the top off :( It's ok though, kind of got in the way anyway.
  5. http://twitpic.com/n87vu - My sock monkey has some issues.
  6. A Rube Goldberg machine is really the most amazing way to describe *anything* in life that's overly complicated.
  7. @sarahbias Awesome, glad you find it useful!
  8. I can never bring myself to use 'no' as a variable name for 'number.'
  9. @1tsplove I think it's pretty good, you do have to get past the self-absorption. Would be curious what they think sucks specifically tho.
  10. @shiftb Telling you man, browser and OS devs should be forced to develop on boxes that are at least 4 years, 512 RAM.
  11. @1tsplove Hah! Do you ever watch his show? It's too funny, esp the attempts at self-deprecation. The show and magazine do rock tho :\
  12. @nascentt Sorry for the late response! The app is probably not popular enough for its own account, but will keep that in mind. :D
  13. @rhino777 This time it was Paint Shop Pro under XP, old laptop.. funny when the 'restore defaults' button doesn't even completely work.
  14. Anyone ever uninstall and reinstall software just because you couldn't figure out how to restore some vanishing toolbars? Man.
  15. Maybe the solution to slow software is to force the devs to work on slow machines. #stophoggingmyram
  16. @WebAsh I've received a lot of requests, but I haven't looked into it. We'll see.. honestly, not a high priority of mine.
  17. @ryanmcgrath is it in Silver Spring?
  18. @jeroenvdmeer You wouldn't rather be doing red-black trees and quick sorts? ;)
  19. Nice, make your own NES games: http://bobrost.com/nes/
  20. @designcrushing Hilarious! Maybe the Onion helped nudge 'em: http://bit.ly/aBebk
