  1. Reading a book on PHP design patterns is like reading the Zend Framework user manual. That's why 9 out of 10 PHP programmers recommend ZF*.
  2. i'm thinking of moving my birthday to summer. anyone know what queue to stand in at home affairs?
  3. telkom you really fucked me yesterday. you are a blight on this nation.
  4. @denouncer @aaronjames9 normal zoopy service resumed, guys. got to 90% yesterday evening, but cruising along again this morning.
  5. @jbagley telkom line been down since 9am :( traffic's been rerouted through another but it's no replacement. 5pm eta for normal service.
  6. @aaronjames9 the timing is really poor :( follow @zoopy -- will let everyone know when it's back up and running.

  15. synecdoche new york is a mindfuck of epic proportions. i was not prepared. i need comedy. now.
  16. @oslolso glad you like it :) we think it's better than the picts too.
  17. @jasonzoopy i'm not saying IRC is a replacement for twitter. twitter's better at some things, irc is better at others.
  18. @jasonzoopy this thread is a perfect example of where twitter fails miserably, and where IRC triumphs.
  19. @jasonzoopy well that's a difference between irc and microblogging services, but there are ways to achieve persistence on IRC.
  20. @verran it's still a powerful, relevant communications tool. Its only barriers to mainstream frenzy are no social graph and complex clients.
