  1. It's so cold my stream of consciousness has frozen solid.
  2. @RonJeffries You could try Ruby Mine.
  3. @robbowley I don't think we ever posited TDD/mock-objects as a replacement of design skill, but an early-warning system for design problems
  4. Review of #goos by @mhevery: http://bit.ly/4wsMNQ
  5. @channingwalton by "technical" I mean tool oriented. E.g. how you position cards on a board, as well as which CI server to use, etc.
  6. @lancewalton When did the meaning of IOC change from "callbacks" to "composition" (or even "knowing what constructors are for")
  7. @channingwalton because many developers' problems can be addressed with technical solutions?
  8. @lastcraft AMQP provides more reliability options than XMPP and #goos does not use XML aspect of XMPP, so AMQP more appropriate.
  9. Would probably use AMQP for communication, not XMPP, if starting #goos today.
  10. @marick there are loads of things I'd like to improve if we get the chance to do a second edition of #goos. I'll keep that one in mind.
  11. No matter how old I get, catching snow-flakes on my tongue loses none of its magic
  12. @marick Avoid that stage if poss. The chat server was enabling technology. Is there an alternative?
  13. RT @andywash: Great!! Emily Barker is no 1 in Amazon's download folk chart!! Well done girl!!
  14. @unclebobmartin Given/When/Then is an event/condition/action (ECA) rule.
  15. RT @atomicobject: TDD wins in simple experiment http://bit.ly/6wQEmH [What is TDD being compared to? Without that the article says little]
  16. @jbrains You'll have to show them. Only evidence I know of is @keithbb's research.
  17. @AntonyMarcano #xtc is at the Butcher's Hook & Cleaver: http://bit.ly/4spMCy
  18. @mfeathers there is this: http://bit.ly/7LSWyW
  19. @tarkaTheRotter English people always tweet about the weather. What else can one talk about with complete strangers?
