  1. @jaimebarclay dog isn't trained to fetch more beer?
  2. You're weird: http://www.viruscomix.com/s...
  3. @embereye Sennheiser PX200's are a solid choice. Folding design, good sound, closed back for audio privacy, inexpensive: http://nwh.me/20
  4. @embereye how big can these headphones be? will you be using them at home or in public?
  5. @chorn it's awesome so far. you should be able to play it using Boot Camp.
  6. @SteveStreza so your app is going to feature a 'Cone of Cold'?
  7. @davemahon indeed. Prices are a tad higher than Marketview, but service is definitely better, especially if Joseph is around.
  8. @wildeep @chorn has a blog: http://chorn.com/ and also quite possibly the most awesome site on the Internets: http://chorn.net/
  9. mmm...Theraflu. *slurp*
  10. @MagnusApollo does your horse taste just like raisins?
  11. @NathanBowers the build quality is definitely Apple-like too. Feels a lot like a tiny MacBook.
  12. Nokia netbook. Cute: http://yfrog.com/14zuxhj
  13. @chorn sweet. I'll bring the kerosene and jumper cables.
  14. @chorn but we're still on for our weekly "kill @rubiety" meeting later, right?
  15. @rubiety Apple discounted themselves into a corner pre-Jobs 2.0. Jobs' fascination w/ edu in the early Apple/NeXT days led to bad decisions.
  16. @rubiety Problem is Apple lost the overall price war in the 90's, and already-loyal edu customers continued to expect huge discounts.
  17. @rubiety and Apple's current individual edu discount pricing reflects precisely what you're saying ($50-100 on MacBook, $0 on iPod/iPhone).
  18. @rubiety first-off, we need to separate individual students from individual educators from institutions. Different markets & rules apply.
  19. @davidmoffitt BS. Education, especially HiEd, is big business. Add to that government money that is allocated annually.
  20. @DamnedFacts there's a certain nostalgia factor, but yes I agree the original liberty plate was awesome. Looks like enforcement is to blame.
