  1. @benjordan Kinda like Charles Barkley: "I ain't no role model." Except, one *is* a role model by *not* being a prima donna. #deep_thoughts
  2. > @benjordan Agreed. The word "guru" in relation to social media, and design "rockstar" are both silly. #I_dont_play_guitar
  3. RT @alexkirmse Flickr does not use branches. All code goes to trunk and then directly to production http://bit.ly/4pAv5r via @ericries
  4. I feel bad un-following "social media" gurus I know in real-life. Trying to focus on topics that interest me: designers + devs mostly.
  5. Somehow I missed this. Pixelmator tutorial w. 960: http://abduzeedo.com/web-design-pixelmator
  6. Ooh. Pastebot, a new app from @tapbots - http://tapbots.com/pastebot (hat-tip @shawnrgrimes + @snookca)
  7. @fahad19 - Cool, glad you've found 960 helpful. :)
  8. Opinion piece on 960: http://bit.ly/7HBs7z Co-written by @philcoffman who used it for http://unicast.com
  9. @mattfarina - I just wrote some PHP to determine whether to insert "Read more..." So really, it could say anything.
  10. Btw, only critiquing the @sequelpro icon because they asked for feedback. It's an awesome database app. Highly recommend it.
  11. Maybe it's just me, but new @sequelpro icon looks like tools + toilet paper. http://bit.ly/5mU3mi Great app tho.
  12. RT @mike9r Microsoft rips off Plurk's visual design, concept, and character-for-character JavaScript: http://idek.net/mxB
  13. @mattfarina I believe it's the last one with case-sensitivity issues. Though, I'd hesitate to call IE7 "A" grade. :)
  14. For aforementioned IE7 bug: if ($('foo') && $('foo').id === 'foo') {...} else if ($('Foo') && $('Foo').id === 'Foo') {...} #Legacy_Code_Fix
  15. Just realized IE7's JavaScript parser thinks that id="foo" and id="Foo" are the same thing. Ugh.
  16. FYI: The organizer / moderator of the CSS Frameworks panel is Beau Smith of Six Apart. @beau
  17. > @mattfarina Frameworks to be covered: 960.gs, Blueprint, Sass, Less, OO CSS concepts, etc.
  18. @tinyfly - Actually, they comp the ticket.
  19. Looks like I'll be going to SXSW after all. Our "CSS Frameworks Shootout" panel was accepted.
  20. @jt - Gotta love the "cloud" eh?
