| nastrus @wolfoftheair: I am running for board for Ignition Northwest, I am forming a nonprofit for burners who operate busses, |
| nastrus @wolfoftheair: I'm too busy to be antisocial these days :). |
| nastrus @wolfoftheair: Am I that antisocial? |
| nastrus @lindaeskin: I am a PM but I used to be a UX person. |
| nastrus Woo! Duke startled to hell and back today because of a thunderstorm and I did -not- end up on the ground :) |
| nastrus @themassivebri: Tried to call you tonight but just got your voicemail. |
| nastrus @jamgrrl: So between 299 and 305 kelvin. I believe that 1000 kelvin would be closer to the temp you'd need to cook one for dinner. |
| nastrus Well, I'd say a cat with a reasonable coat of fur that lived in our climate would start to pant between 80 and 90f, depending on breed. |
| nastrus @Jamgrrl: Big cats pant a lot, domestics, more desert animals than some of the bigger ones, only pant at very high temperatures. |
| nastrus @Jamgrrl: Well, not to be argumentative, but at high temps, cats do, big and small, pant to cool themselves. |
| nastrus @Jamgrrl: Well, actually they also cool themselves via panting, it isn't sweating exactly, but it does cause similar evaporative cooling. |
| nastrus @themassivebri: Schedule says that evening is clear. |
| nastrus @themassivebri: Why would you do that instead of hanging out with me? |
| nastrus @themassivebri: When you up here again? |
| nastrus Burn Baby Burn: SOAK down near Salem was made of completely awesome. |
| nastrus Also, lost 7 pounds even with gaining muscle in my legs, and my bp is down a whopping 30/9 points, all since mid-May. |
