  12. EL PASO SNOW -- Generally 2-5" of snow fell in El Paso County. Reports of up to 20" of snow fell over the mountains in SE New Mexico.

  14. MEANWHILE, the NWS in Midland has extended the time of every winter weather advisory as the wintry precip could last longer than thought.
  15. While the advisory is canceled, rain/snow/sleet mixes are still probable over the Big Country, but no accumulations are expected.

  17. Rain is having a tough time changing over to snow in West Texas. Most observation stations are still reporting rain.
