  1. C's picking up Frenchy's chicken. This has the makings of a good evening.
  2. @HoustonPress Hey, that's Robinson, not Waco. Waco's got enough bad press as it is.
  3. @organprinter they need to get used to being overextended; will do it for the rest of their lives to protect their salaries.
  4. Will did his first trivia night at Midtown Woodrow's. I helped, and helped myself to beer and steak. C returned to town in time to join us.
  5. @organprinter sorry about that. Not sure what we have here that needs to be so damned secure.
  6. @mrshl I think that was a wise move.
  7. Bachelored it up last night. Dinner with Sabrina & Shawn in Pearland, then beers at Woodrow's with @charhu & Will.
  8. @bethatasitmay That would be "The Day Of", right?
  9. @bethatasitmay I think they made that one. "Alive"?
  10. @mrshl also: my condolences.
  11. @mrshl Didnt realize you were a Baylor alum. Me too...
  12. C & I had the bottle of Marble Double White that I brought back from NM. Very nice beer, much more exciting than a typical witbier.
  13. @Bobby_Heugel For Feed the Bartenders, is homemade OK? And do you guys have a microwave to heat stuff? I'd like to bring something sometime.
  14. Somebody get this man a grant to work on and get him out of our hair.
  15. Boss is in meeting mode. Lab meetings once a week, project meetings daily. Productivity and morale plummet.
  16. Weekend-in-review: Friday, symphony; Saturday, Anvil for Halloween; Sunday, lunch with C's family, made chicken & dumplings for dinner.
  17. @thisisruben Wrong M. Ward, though I thought that was an excellent performance on ACL.
  18. @windoeswaco Article had the average expenditures for both groups, unless I just read it wrong.
  19. @windoeswaco Oh, they spend 33 lbs extra. I can probably top 77 lbs though, still. Certainly top 44 lbs.
  20. @windoeswaco I guess the conclusion there is "people really don't spend much on music". I spend far more than $66 on music per year, btw.
