  1. @chrisswinney Just trying a different approach. Monitoring any muckwork mentions. More effective than following everything everyone says.
  2. @william_stenner Still monitoring any @muckwork or muckwork mentions, of course. More effective than following everything everyone says.
  3. @tindle No problem. This account isn't used much yet. It's just here for future Muckwork clients. Unfollow if you'd like.
  4. Unfollowed everyone because Direct Messages were only spam. No offense intended.
  5. Any bands / singer song writers planning to travel to India later this year? May have some shows lined up!
  6. @iitonheavything - So how would you guys go approach a new venue? or do you go as a bunch of bands?
  7. To learn the art of booking bands, what questions would you ask venues, artists and other agents? tell us - http://is.gd/ovYY
  8. @realfreshtv Hey ChiChi! thanks for the intdoctuion :) and Hey @musicmarketer!
  9. @nicklevine - Thanks a bunch!
  10. @rdubulous - Yea, we're in the process of building up such a network, but that will still take time! Thanks again for the idea though!
  11. @rdubulous - Thanks for the idea :) just to prod a little further, do you mean us find the gigs also or just manage existing/new dates?
  12. @herejam - I don't mean literally a biography, I mean the description of the music which also includes stuff about the musicians involved
  13. @pheroze - Written to your satisfaction. Does the credentials of the writer really matter that much?
  14. @mikeborgia - why do you say no one reads bios? Maybe not the long winded ones, but surely people read bios!
  15. @dove16 - Absolutely! but don't you think that can be done with email / phone interaction with the musician as well?
  16. Thanks for all the responses coming in! Keep them coming. And again, yes the bios should be written after interacting with the musician.
  17. @rdubulous - Wouldn't it be the artist who decides whether to put it in the EPK? Don't you think a great bio is a must anyway? EPK or not?
  18. To clarify the last question, yes revisions allowed, but not unrealistic. Also, does who writes it matter a lot? or just how it turns out?
  19. A question for the musicians here - How much would you be willing to pay for a professionally written bio of your band?
  20. A little late in the day, but Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have had a great day so far and an even better year ahead!
