  1. Thanks, @pierre! Here's a better link to a story about the NPR project (codenamed "Project Argo"): http://bit.ly/87dK0H
  2. Telling people one-by-one no longer works in the era of Twitter. I've accepted a job at NPR and will be moving to DC: http://bit.ly/6Q10tM
  3. @pfhyper Thanks, Peter!
  4. Thanks @marrina @plesserchick and @amck! I will miss the heck out of you all, and this city.
  5. @mattmansfield Thanks! Looking forward to being in your hood and finding the best karaoke joint.
  6. @SaheliDatta I think that would be an awesome use of Kickstarter!
  7. I appreciate the sentiment, really, Random Merchants. But please stop sending me Happy Holidays email newsletters.
  8. For Xmas, I want a choir that records beautiful classical works in the public domain and releases them under a liberal open-source license.
  9. "Stump speech pop-up video" might be the best new story form of 2009: http://is.gd/5xM7b @TexasTribune (bonus video: http://is.gd/5xMbl)
  10. RT @miekapauley: want me to play a solo acoustic concert in your house ? more info: http://mim.io/8a6e1
  11. @craiggav Agreed, the Annabel Scheme packaging was lovely, even the black envelope. Was very exciting to get the books. /@robinsloan
  12. Jogged around the western part of Amsterdam, got rain-drenched, only got a little lost, made it back, now at the conference. Good times!
  13. My first thoughts about Google's living stories: http://bit.ly/6d9onC - Hi from Amsterdam!
  14. @sarahdopp re: gender-neutral pronouns, I've come around to favoring 'yo,' not least for the reflexive: 'yoself.'
  15. Few things are more suspenseful than the last stream of stragglers boarding the plane as you quietly hope your row remains empty.
  16. Off to Amsterdam. Had to board before I could blog about Google's living stories. Already worked it into Thursday's preso.
  17. @jeremygilbert It's another worthy experiment on the way, definitely. A bit broad and colorless, but we'll learn something from it.
  18. Playing Dragon Age, have to choose to side w/ Bhelen or Harrowmont. Love the fact that they wrote a nuanced political plot into this game.
  19. Just realized the TED Talks have interactive transcripts. (Top of the right-hand sidebar.) Nice! This will up my TED video consumption.
  20. @tmeanstrouble PC, which is apparently a better experience, from reviews.
