  1. @codybrown should separate if something is geo, but the aggregate data of where tweets come from might be of interest even if not about loc.
  2. @hrkovar Very nice. you beat thehour.com by a whole 26 minutes on the Rell announcement. My fault though. Heavy cache on the feeds slowed us
  3. The fact that one is compelled to take a side at all is where the problem begins. There are no sides. No left and right. That's all made up.
  4. The two party system seems broken. I think both sides are idiots and haven't agreed with either for many years. . .
  5. Journalism: Both sides are wrongly arguing whether to outsource the diesel mechanic when the car is now electric. http://tinyurl.com/yzkom7o
  6. @jayrosen_nyu Anyone can tell the truth, and any journalist can misinform, so it's about trust, not whether one is a professional or citizen
  7. I'm in Oauth hell.
  8. @hardaway Maybe disease. . . Isn't death 100% ?
  9. For some, print and web may be too big of a conflict of interest to overcome
  10. @hardaway I knew you were a split twitter personality
  11. OMG stop and shop seems down http://www.stopandshop.com/
  12. That's a nice old fashioned.
  13. A bug just crawled out of my Mac.
  14. @CodyBrown Once the web is the medium, why have a student news org at all unless they plan on building software. Just blog and tweet etc.
  15. @AshleyAngell If there is a limit, it would be the browser that imposed it, no PHP, unless I misunderstand
  16. @tomguarriello never got one spam Tom. I wonder why.
  17. I usually don't get tired for an hour or so. I wonder why.
  18. if something called a "distributed object of thought" catches on I've severely underrated society
  19. @jeffjarvis Newspaper sites reflect the web usage patterns of the publishers and ad directors. They don't use Twitter or have blogs.
  20. @Karoli @hardaway I used to work at a local meat market. 1. Ring up $180 in food stamps 2.bag it and 3. carry it out to the Range Rover.
