  1. Attained "Superuser" status on 4SQ today. Curious to see what interesting new bits of (fun)ctionality they add next.
  2. It's funny how a little thing like a "free holiday cookie" can make your day. Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for reading. #iamthankfulfor
  3. Even the worthiest technologies are replaced when demand evolves. We're on a boat - keep an eye not just on the winds, but on the tides.
  4. Tech hype cycle: in diminishing periods, the latest shiny thing goes from zero to everywhere to yesterday's news(papers). Substance, anyone?
  5. RT @jayrosen_nyu: Like the sources, the people formerly known as the advertisers can go direct: http://jr.ly/nisd (Another reason the ad ...

  12. @elimon Hope you feel better soon!
  13. @RawsonGH *Like!* (the red neon sign) We need to catch up! I'll call you in the next couple of days.
  14. @jayrosen_nyu Reminds me of the Monty Python "bring out your dead" sketch: "He says he's not dead!" "Yes, he is." "I'm not!", etc.
  15. @jayrosen_nyu Agreed on the "dead" annoyance...I get tired of short-sighted prognosticators recanting every time the wind changes direction.
  16. Murdoch is too late. Now, block off content, and it will be replaced. It's called a content stream for a reason - it will flow around you.
  17. Look for Twitter to push the legitimacy of their news coverage...or of their ability to aggregate/report on public sentiment.
  18. Twitter is now trying to encourage people to "report the news", rather than broadcast their personal habits.
  19. @jayrosen_nyu Introverted to extroverted...or specific to general. Twitter wants to be THE go-to news source, not just RT the mundane.
  20. RT @mashable Now You Can Tell Twitter Where You Are http://bit.ly/jOQat - They're going after Foursquare/other loc-based services!
