  1. arrived at Kolkata, checked in, 15 mins later was off to talk, then British Council event. Now finally getting ready to sleep.
  2. Right then. Going radio silence. Safe day, all.
  3. I have a reason for the watch - with no waistcoats, I have nowhere to put the fob. The sunglasses were pure impulse, though.
  4. In airport. Have availed myself of duty free. Now have new watch and sunglasses. Flight leaves in an hour. Feel quite cosmopolitan.
  5. FINALLY. The passports have been cleared, the British Council are meeting me in Liverpool Street and we'll do a swap before I go to airport.
  6. @neilhimself Careful sir - do you KNOW what a bucket of 'Neil Gaiman love' can go for on the Internets?
  7. @GeekSyndicate They'll be the ones I did in 25 and 26 - not sure of the titles.

  15. Deadlines done with two hours to spare. Now to finish packing and then try to grab a disco nap. no sleep until 4pm tomorrow!
  16. awesome. the time in India is apparently also ahead by a 'half' hour too. That'll make phoning home more fun.
  17. Today I fly to India. First I kill a deadline. Then I pack. Then I get my passport from the British Council. Nothing can go wrong, right?
  18. Just booked seven days in the Red Sea, Egypt with @MissDracula in December - I'll need a week to recharge by the beach by then!
  19. @adityab Unfortunately I've got afternoon interviews, but finding me a comic store / pub in Pune near Koregaon Road might be a plan :-)
  20. @adityab - I'm doing an event at British Library: In conversation with Deepthy Iyer on Saturday, 6.30pm, although I arrive in Pune Friday.
