  1. Ate too much fair food today, and my insides would like to remind me just how old I really am.
  2. Jam of the day was nectarine. 6 1-cup pots. Jam of the day Friday was sweet cherry-raspberry (15 pots).
  3. Also, I am really tired of death right about now.
  4. We're taking Ana for her last vet visit tomorrow. She stopped eating Saturday. 18 is not a bad run for a formerly feral cat.
  5. The theme for this week is "heavy lifting." Tonight we moved an organ into our front hall.
  6. Waiting for the milk to culture so we can add rennet. Homemade cheese, ahoy! (In several months.)
  7. ...and can't figure out what sort of person wants to follow their grocery store on twitter.
  8. Reading lots of info about packaging design and shipping rates, not entirely idly.
  9. Peeve: people who don't know the difference between slash and backslash.
  10. Long day in structural eng. seminar says: I'm so glad I went to Poly and know this stuff.
  11. In a class about solid state lighting, knitting a hat from yarn I spun myself.
  12. Seriously considering closing my Facebook account after today.
  13. @davidcarlton My life has been a hundred million times better since doing just that. Too many cooks do in fact spoil the soup.
  14. I'm feeling oddly super-prepared for this next exam. Like I could take it next week. And it's scheduled for March 3.
