@ One thing to try. When it goes unresponsive, 'sample' it from Activity monitor. That *might* help the support folks.

@ Have you checked with PF support? My PF is using 160/197 MB Real/Virtual. My Safari, on the other hand goes to multiple GBs

@ You won't be disappointed with the 17. Although I don't use it much (3x24" on MacPro), I couldn't imagine going < 17" with laptop.

@ It's an experiment. Have owned OW since v3 IIRC. Safari's memory usage is out of control. Have only Click2Flash and Glims installed

is trying out OmniWeb 5.x as my default browser. 300MB Real Mem vs. Safari's 3+GB if I let it run long enough.
