  1. @cheenixin yeees. the first rule of CIA club, etc..
  2. @cheenixin .. but with a flair for self-publicity!
  3. @spaghettisquash You need to be careful when going up against chairs which are armed with staple guns. They can turn mean.
  4. awards @bdowney2 several sainthood points for loaning me his spare D300 while I'm visiting Mountain View.
  5. @colmbuckley Looking forward to your first oncall shifts, then, I hope.
  6. @totkat kitteh pics pls!
  7. bacon. it's what's for breakfast.
  8. has been lied to about the weather in California. Sunnyvale is currently fairly chilly and damp.
  9. @benjyfeen Clearly you are OUT OF TOUCH with the engineer in the street and must be sent back to an oncall group for a few months.
  10. @whereistanya poor scheduling has left me with EMEA oncall when in Colorado this Christmas. Definitely not looking forward to those hours.
  11. @lbedford I'm in the depths of Sunnyvale without a car (left it behind last night as there was wine). Will get fed at the office, tho.
  12. is awake at 0545. That good ol' California jetlag.
  13. is wearing his formal dress hoodie for a company event.
  14. truly this is THE FUTURE. I'm chatting on IRC with someone sitting on a plane at 38000ft. You know we take this for granted nowadays?
  15. can't help but notice how much faster Twitter is when you're in California..
  16. @renarde it made you look mysterious?
  17. @benjyfeen Yeah, it didn't fall *that* far, and Nikon have a good rep for this too, particularly with the more pro-end bodies.
  18. finds the D700 working fine.. except the mirror won't rise, so it won't open the shutter and records a blank image. A minor fix, I hope..
  19. @totkat yes wai. *weeps inconsolably*
  20. managed to drop his beautiful new D700, which is now just clicking sadly and saying "Err" on the screen when I try to shoot with it. *weeps*
