  1. @VampCKelleyEsq You're always a step ahead of me!
  2. @rebkatz Do you read Hebrew? There's a tiny reference to my brother's silly YouTube video he's trying to translate.
  3. @VampCKelleyEsq Let me know how it feels to be 30! I have another six weeks before I find out.
  4. @atlasien Sorry today didn't stay good. I hope you're headed in the right direction with Sunny. Things do sound better on the whole.
  5. It was foolish of me not to buy green tea mochi ice cream. Alas! But at least I had latkes.
  6. @milogeorge I think we just missed Mrs. Parker again, but She needs to watch some special on Tiger's women.
  7. Trader Joe's latkes in the oven. I'm not sure they'll fulfill my periodic latke cravings, but I'll hit the local place for them if I must.
  8. @lilysea I had an easy time in part b/c I don't mind keeping my eyes down and could pass as Turkish lookswise. I thrived there.
  9. @lilysea I don't think it would be a terrible place for ex-pat queer families, though racial dynamics are not ideal.
  10. @lilysea Is 60 Minutes considered a news show? That may have been my first mistake.
  11. @lilysea It's a fantastic place. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
  12. 60 Minutes has moved on to Alec Baldwin. Since I know little about him, I shouldn't have too many complaints about this. (Though I might)
  13. @PreCur Details like that really made the show successful for me.
  14. @PreCur No, she's in one episode as the American whose son has gone missing. Also the only one to say the word "AIDS."
  15. @lilysea There are so many better things to talk about in Turkey than whether the Patriarch there feels persecuted. Or talk about that WELL!
  16. @PreCur CCH Pounder is good in her role. And I like her last name there, which I think must be different from in the book or I'd recall.
  17. @Yondalla Nice and decisive win earlier!
  18. This is why I don't watch junky news shows, but I'm too tired to go upstairs yet. Dinner first, I think.
  19. And you can hardly say early Christian sites are from "eons ago." But they do!
  20. I mean, if something has been going on "since before there was a Turkey" that's not very impressive since it's not even 100 years.
