  1. New York is great, but I left my heart in San Francisco.
  2. Food coma after Thanksgiving meal at Virgil's BBQ. Happy TG everyone!
  3. Okay, just dd-ed off the first 100MB. It worked so my SD data should be recoverable. But my Eee is < 16GB so it will have to wait til home
  4. @deancollins Thanks, I will check that out!
  5. @RyeBrye It's an I/O error on reading certain blocks. Unfortunately one of those blocks is in the FAT. Might still be salvageable tho.
  6. You must be kidding me. My 16GB card just died. Lost all my Macy's Parade pics & videos. :-(
  7. The helicopter hovering around noisily is kind of annoying. DO NOT WANT
  8. A lot of people in New York smoke. And a lot of them are coming up behind me to do it.
  9. At the Macy's parade, with a surprisingly decent view. http://bit.ly/7nJPKc
  10. @sunghu The trick to be lucky when trying to get reservations.
  11. So that's French Laundry, Bouchon, and Per Se. I think all we need is Ad Hoc for a complete Thomas Keller collection.
  12. In New York City. Dinner at Per Se. ... Wow.
  13. OH at Ironside: "It's not about the distance, it's about getting ice cream RIGHT NOW!"
  14. Wow, weird: http://www.universetoday.co...
  15. Does anyone else say "AFK" anymore? Or am I an Internet dinosaur?
  16. @dshaw I don't follow your meaning. (Not defending the new RT feature -- I think it's a no-op -- just curious why people dislike it so much)
  17. @kurrik Nice work. Very, very nice work.
  18. RT @dsandler . @morrildl has constructed a raft to protect his Droid in the event of a water landing: http://short.to/xzee
  19. @dsandler LOL
  20. RT @burke_eric Stop freaking out about multiple screen sizes in Android devices. We programmers can handle it, just like desktop apps.
