  15. Drove thru Icebox Canyon and Spearfish Canyon -- beautiful with newfallen snow -- kicking back at Sanford's. Next up: Devil's Tower.
  16. Hiked for a couple of hours in Custer State Park. Also saw deer, bison, pronghorn, bighorn, turkey, prairie dogs, nuthatches, et cetera.
  17. Hamburger smothered in gravy and mashed potatoes at Casey's Cafe in Chamberlain, SD. Dakotas cuisine doesn't get any better than this.
  18. Grilling in the rain. Brats from R.C. Dick's, kraut from @kjtten, and tomatoes from the garden. Rain can't stop the Friday: no way, no how.
