  1. .@buckybadger my wife is going to be jealous of that photo :-)
  2. @colincsh what is your hang up?? Are category averages not appearing in your gradebook? It took my days to figure out how to fix this...
  3. noticing that Google Wave is much more reliable in firefox than in chrome
  4. .@bjansen I agree w/your take...In general, I'm impressed with school librarian leadership in the area of learning 2.0
  5. .@cchausis Twitter provides an open platform for people like you and I to exchange ideas and to work together in creative ways.
  6. .@colincsh I feel your pain. Moodle's gradebook and reports are pesky and not very elegant.
  7. .@bengrey I've found that picassa has much better privacy controls than flickr. We use picassa when privacy is needed, flickr when pub OK
  8. Language learning and golf. Great piece here: http://bit.ly/3k4XeG Hat tip Carla Arena
  9. The foul language you hear when you are actually at a Detroit Lions game is no different than the language some Lions fans use on Twitter.
  10. Nice post here by @mswojo on the NY Times article re:teachers profiting off selling lessons & freelancing: http://bit.ly/3cUXXV
  11. @mswojo well said, Natalie:Teacher Freelancing for Fun and Profit: Yesterday's NYTimes post Selling Lessons Online http://bit.ly/3cUXXV
  12. .@colleenk in many ways Doctors do monetize when they are paid to appear and present at conferences...it happens there too...
  13. .@colleenk my fundamental point is that if teachers can figure out creative ways to monetize, they should absolutely be able to go for it.
  14. .@damian613 I've always felt that youth do a pretty darn good job of behaving online given their limited and/or poor role models.
  15. ...below average advice for hundreds of thousands a year, but we question teachers making a few hundred bucks/yr on lesson plans??
  16. .@jenwagner I'm actually quite surprised the NYTimes would write that article. It lacks substance. Why do financial advisers get to sell...
  17. Saw Michael Jackson's This is It last night...awesome, awesome film...
  18. .@damian613 your point is EXCELLENT. Why would adults think it is OK to behave differently online than offline? Great point!!!
  19. .@damian613 also, the media wants to point the finger at youth as the main abusers of the internet. I don't think that is fair...
  20. RT jswiatek @mjmontagne @jenwagner I created the poll you asked for... http://twtpoll.com/8fpmu8
