@ MonoDevelop works fine on Mac OS 10.6. WCF support is very limited, but will be better in Mono 2.6.

@ Banshee used MD long before Gnome moved to git. MD is also extremely useful for code completion, navigation, refactoring, etc.

Cleared up nasty perf issue with loads of unnecessary change events that fed a leak. Side effect: made closing prefs dialog much faster.

@ IIRC yes. But I haven't used Compiz in ages. The nVidia binary drivers have solid, fast OpenGL support, so I'd blame Compiz...
