  1. RT @feliciaday: Nothing embodies Thanksgiving more than people dashing down the grocery aisles trying to kill you with their carts.
  2. Don't %$&# with the designers! :DRT @Phreddiva: via @theaggregator http://tinyurl.com/ykadwwg?
  3. Brain officially broken for the holiday. RT @tjcrowley: Gimme that Christian sidehug (your daily WTF) http://bit.ly/7XigAu
  4. @thejillthompson MO!
  5. snerk RT @FakeAPStylebook: "Tryptophan" on first use, "Dad is too drunk to help mom wash the dishes" after.
  6. Sentence beginning "Those with whom I've worked often praise my ..." much funnier without word "with". :D
  7. Co-worker (pointing to spiders woven into my holiday lighting at my desk): Typical, very typical you. :)
  8. Beyond awesome. Muppets take Queen! RT too many to name: RT @TheLiveFeed Muppets perform 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (video) http://bit.ly/7t0cIF
  9. @fabulouslorrain EEEK! So AWESOME!!!! (And, of course, I'm jealous, but still beyond happy for you!)
  10. @thejillthompson Favourite things you've been for Halloween?
  11. It's true. I'd be one raising my hand to correct at sloppy use of "decimate".
  12. @dleslie I've caught myself making that exact same correction at least 3 times in as many months.
  13. <ducks> RT @FakeAPStylebook: Avoid using "decimate" as someone will pipe up about it meaning "remove 1/10th of," and those people are dicks.
  14. @meltgirl And you're still a goddess! :)
  15. Wow. Cover letter not just personalized for the wrong position, but also the wrong company. /headdesk
  16. Sometimes hiring plans change and positions are canceled. Other times they change and positions are opened. Don't assume anything!
  17. @scribblegurl Casual is great - just temper being overly familiar first. Wait to see how your interviewer behaves. If casual, then go 4 it.
  18. Oops. ATS = "applicant tracking system". When you submit resumes through an online form, you're likely using an ATS. (e.g., Taleo)
  19. Also - industry secret - some of the "ATS misbehaviour" you see isn't the ATS, but the people using it. Thankfully usually not me. ;)
  20. Also, for the record - every person who has emailed because of ATS concern has had a perfect entry in the ATS. Misbehaviour is very rare.
