  7. Especially if Wikipedia is paraphrasing and referencing content that isn't completely open and accessible, such as being behind a paywall.
  8. Wikipedia can be a great prelim research tool, & citing in parallel w/ other sources, when author is confident in specific articles = win
  9. 1st time I worked as research minion for a law prof., he had a legal history paper with 5 cites to Wikipedia - I found more direct cites.
