  1. Reading Karen Armstrong's History of God (Jewish, Muslim and Christian) in Bhaktapur, 'city of devotees' (of the Hindu and Buddhist kind)
  2. heading back to Kathmandu tomorrow and then to Bhaktapur for the long awaited chill out and do nothing part of the holiday...
  3. House looks really good but I think our entire team will be in tears as we say goodbye to the local people this morn. Esp the kids.
  4. We finished the mud and cow poo render! Also got to sing an african song with 400 nepalese schoolkids. As you do:-)
  5. Today i mixed cowpoo and mud barefoot and sang and danced with the local women while stomping. Good fun! :-)
  6. Bamboo weaving nearly done today will be the cow poo and mud day...should be very therapeutic flinging that stuff!!
  7. After ten days in nepal mobile suddenly working must be a good planetary alignment right now!!
  8. aaah, good night's sleep AND heading to the much more peaceful, rural Jhapa region today...
  9. Nothing prepares you for Kathmandu. But after 660 mls of Everest lager I feel more relaxed about the chaos...
  10. Leaving on a jet plane. Why do i always have such obvious and dodgy songs playing in my head?!
  11. ok. office packed up. now for house. Adrenaline, fear, and euphoria makes for an interesting mix.
  12. can't believe I spent a year OS in 2003, I almost physically ache thinking of who and what I'm going to miss over the next month.
  13. My tweeting career might be short &sweet, my mobile won't work in Nepal. Why do I just feel like I've been told I have to amputate a limb?
