  1. Finally started playing around with Bigyo Frequency Shifter in Buzz. Wow, this thing is awesome!
  2. Three projects at once just might be too much. But damn, I really want to get them all done!
  3. More laptop battle work. Basic attack plan: take a good track, edit to 3 minutes, remove subtlety, play for the cheap seats. Bam!
  4. Worked on my laptop battle material for a while, feeling pretty good about my direction. Now, off to sushi happy hour at Blue C.
  5. I'll be competing in the Seattle Laptop Battle, December 18th at Chop Suey! You should come! http://bit.ly/3ff9yS
  6. Anyone in the Seattle area have an M-Audio Axiom 25 they want to sell me?
  7. Does this e-mail mean what I think it means? Guess I nee to work on some short, battle pieces in the next month, along with the album... :D
  8. Fresh hair dye. Essential to a productive evening of music making.
  9. Considering signing up for the laptop battle in December....hmmm.......
  10. Another night, another couple of gigs of audio bounced to disk.
  11. New! Jazz Hands (working title, rough mix) on #SoundCloud http://bit.ly/l2Sk5
  12. I think I finally finished this track, except a couple details and final mixing. Now to get rid of the terrible working title "Jazz Hands".
  13. FINALLY got this drum part sounding good, after taking @timmblakley and @garderespoir's advice. Go figure!
  14. So many drum loops, and I can't find a nice basic ride groove? Really?
  15. A quick and mostly unproductive bout of music making. Oh well, try again later. *sigh*
  16. RT @timexile : Mobile bike raving in Seattle courtesy of Splatinum - the cops showed up for a quick dance too... http://bit.ly/2R6JIH
  17. @ianshepherd ah, gotcha....similar to broadcast limiting. Normalization is definitely better than further messing with dynamics. ;)
  18. @ianshepherd gain algorhtyhms won't repair overcompression, just make the perceived volume lower. Producing loud records is a lossy process.
  19. Inspired and exhausted. Thank you @dbfestival! See you all next year... #db09
  20. Bow down puny mortals. Tim exile is your new god now. #db09
