Off work today due to chemo treatment yesterday. Will rest up and regroup, maybe . . . maybe . . . get some writing done.

Had my 9th round of chemo today and it's left me feeling jittery and restless. Worked on my newspaper column while getting chemo.

I'm sitting at work, twiddling my thumbs (slow day) and dreaming up new story ideas. Now if I could just find the time to write . . .

Surgeon visit went well yesterday. Surgery to reverse the ostomy is slated for first thing in January. Come quickly, sweet January.

I'm getting ready to see the surgeon this morning for a follow-up appointment. My last surgery will take place late Dec./early Jan.

I'm preparing myself for round eight of chemotherapy. After this, four more to go. Praise God.
