  1. @bbum No, I get distressed at the state of the human race in May too
  2. I am occasionally distressed at the state of the human race, but only on days that end in Y
  3. You know you write nice, modular code when you find a cracked version which mixes new fixes into an old version of the app
  4. Bank of America is hilarious. They'll start charging me $10/month for no reason, but mail me a 1-cent check for prorated interest.
  5. @tylerweir It sounds nice, but the actual reader itself seems to be "coming soon"
  6. Enjoying the freedom of iPhone web app development and playing with GPS tech: http://www.mikeash.com/wher...
  7. Happiness is when the web store remembers my credit card number and I remember the card's security code.
  8. @rudyrichter @jeff_lamarche I did finally get paid on Monday. 6+ months late, and after 2 solid months of hassling them ever more greatly
  9. The visit itself was good, at least. Got rid of a couple of useless splitters that were killing signal, should solve the trouble
  10. @CocoaGeek I would rather they just show up, and tell me so, than promise 30 minute notice but actually provide 8.
  11. Comcast just called. ETA 8 minutes. 8 is substantially less than 30.
  12. I don't know why big companies have such trouble with basic things. Show up when you say. Pay me when you say you will. It's not that hard!
  13. I fully rescind my previous praise about their Twitter customer service. If you can't keep the appointment then it doesn't count.
  14. Comcast tech was scheduled from 11-2. Supposed to call 30 minutes before. Guess what time it is....
  15. @josevazquez Oh well. I'll see you in a bit anyway.
  16. @josevazquez Should have told me you were going to be there, I would have scheduled my walk down there to be a bit later :)
  17. People seem to see leaving iPhone development like leaving Windows development. It's so BIG, they think nothing else matters
  18. @0xced Apple doesn't consider developers to be customers, so we get Klingon-style support
  19. Comcast called me and scheduled a tech to come out in response to my Twitter whining. Props to them for good Twitter service!
  20. @mdhughes I was once naive like you, before I got involved in the world of publishing....
