  1. Yeah, spoke too soon. Result is an installer that reports success, but corrupted Xcode
  2. Today, opened the MBA and then woke up desktop too. The installation now seems to be continuing gracefully. INCREDIBLE!!
  3. So yesterday I started installing Xcode on my MBA over wifi from a disk image stored on my desktop. Being dumb, I shut the MBA midway
  4. @badeen do indeed (and am in fact using it internally). As it's in the HIG there really ought to be a built-in control though
  5. My request for a scope bar control in Cocoa unsurprisingly got closed as a dupe. Can't believe the original report is as old as #4493499
  6. @pilky whoah, How'd you deduce that?
  7. @pilky that's the one. Haven't listened to Pull The Pin yet. Maybe I won't ;)
  8. what the hell? System ignored all keyboard input for 5 mins there
  9. Stereophonics' JEEP has many detractors but I like it so there
  10. Watched James May's Scalextric racetrack challenge thingy. Maybe just because I'm a big kid, but some of the funnest TV I've seen in a while
  11. Yikes, -[NSArrayController arrangedObjects] returns a custom NSArray subclass that is live
  12. If only for the sake of easy editing from built-in controllers etc
  13. Conclusion: consider a linked list a performance optimisation, but atop more standard ordered relationship code
  14. Think I'm going to have to give up on my attempts to use an array controller bound to a Core Data linked list. Keeps getting confused.
  15. @fraserspeirs i've long expected it and still not used one
  16. @NSCoderNightLon yeah, self-promotion definitely isn't my strong point
  17. @keith_duncan no, we're not playing London again for a while :P
  18. @kevinhoctor think I described it badly in 140 chars. Will blog soon instead
  19. Grrr, why doesn't Core Data maintain relationships inverses mid-undo?
  20. Why are the Cardigans suddenly popular again? Second time in as many days I've heard "My Favourite Game" on the radio - love that album!
