  1. @ck5um Hey; let me know how you're fixed from tomorrow onwards so we can jump on Skype and have that chat (& let me know your Skype details)
  2. @ck5um Gutted! Take it you're ok man?
  3. @drbarnard The chaps behind Sparrow released a pack of alternative icons on @dribbble. This one looks awfully familiar!!
  4. @misecia I'm not sure why there's such a huge divide between apps + IAP and games + IAP (the latter being far more tolerated) but there is.
  5. @misecia I'd be careful with that approach. There's a huge % of users who won't even entertain downloading a free app if it has IAP.
  6. @drbarnard There's similar ideas, there's clones and then there's out-and-out blatant copies! This definitely falls in the latter category.
  7. @misecia Can appreciate that! Looking forward to seeing what you have. Definitely room for a beautiful, well designed, simple Twitter client
  8. @misecia Aha! You just picked up dev work again recently then, seeing that account's not been updated for half a year?
  9. @misecia You should totally rip out the @twitter functionality of @BackboardApp and roll it into its own client!!
  10. @misecia Maybe drop the @dribbble client angle, instead pitching it as a tool for creatives to draw inspiration from, powered by @dribbble?
  11. @misecia It's an incredibly niche market so how do you define success? How many @dribbble users are there, and what % use iOS?
  12. A must have for anyone who appreciates great design >> @misecia: Backboard - Free Today on @dribbble: d.pr/fxxz - Please RT :)
  13. @misecia Nothing to drastic I hope? In response to the low sales volumes we spoke about?
  14. @misecia With life in general or specifically app development?
  15. @ck5um It's definitely a tough one. It's the only market where quality has no influence, all apps are equal /cc @manton @drbarnard
  16. @ck5um @manton @drbarnard But this is only for quality apps. Cheap 99c apps would still exist but your setting the expectations for quality
  17. @ck5um @manton @drbarnard Hence the need for an agreement between popular devs. If they all abided the rest would follow suit.
  18. @manton @ck5um @drbarnard Users have been conditioned because of the race to the bottom. The only was to change is to raise the lowest price
  19. @manton @ck5um @drbarnard If the base price was $4.99 they'd still shift in the same volume because that'd still be seen as the cheapest
