  9. Peak phase training for Ironman Lake Placid: 2 x run today (3 pm temp 102!) Tomorrow bike w/fast transition run...time to bring the pain!
  10. @hypercat AWESOME FINISH - Did that race last year, not only an awesome race, but so, so tough (altitude, climbing...snow and 90+ degrees?)
  11. Morning swim 3500 (30x100 on the 1:10) morning swim's are perfect, heat of the day is has yet to set in and the sunrises are spectacular!
  12. Perfect run weather - warm early morning sun w/light breeze. 90 minutes Zone 2 effort. Afternoon 30 min. Tempo run. Evening 4,500 yd swim
  13. Trying to get to sleep...but Ironman CDA friends keep updating with pictures and comments from the race! I'm kind of buzzing from it!
  14. ...the Merchant of Speed is also pleased all Ironman CDA customers had solid bike splits on their ZIPPS!
  15. Ironman CDA competitors - followed you out there (and some still out there) looked like an epic day! (couple of you CRUSHED the run!)
  16. 4 hour bike done & evening 90 min. run scheduled for yesterday - spent Friday night in ER making sure my femur wasn't fractured (it's not!)
  17. 50 miler complete for the day, all Zone 2 (~145 bpm), brief recovery from Boise half-IM and build to peak for Ironman Lake Placid (7/26/09)
  18. Boise 70.3 half-Ironman done...through rain & hail! Hanging out in Idaho (amazing). Back to NorCal tomorrow & prep for Ironman Lake Placid.
  19. 4300 yard swim earlier today was awesome, Dougherty Valley Aqautic Center is another training spot to add to the lineup (super fast pool!)
  20. up late finishing repairs to my drivetrain from my 160 mile ride on Thursday (got a 2.5 hour run in the AM, 4600 yd swim PM, I need to rest
