  3. @YLTO That's why for bandwidth-intensive applications we recommend reducing the number of hops, or using to multi-radio repeaters.
  4. @YLTO You are correct, each additional hop will cut bandwidth in half for solo-radio mesh repeaters. APs need to listen and transmit equally
  5. @YLTO Hi Eric. I'll try to answer your questions. Can you explain what you mean by "traditional"? Are you talking about 802.11b vs. 802.11n?
  6. @NathanaelB Hi Nathanael. What's the network named? What's the problem? Let me know if I can help.

  14. @lbautist 802.11n has been in Macs forever, and PCs are catching up. Now that the spec has been ratified it's really gaining steam.
  15. @lbautist Yes, the repeaters will calculate the best route to the Internet, which usually happens by minimizing hops. Have you considered N?
  16. @lbautist Meraki offers tools to find the best channel, but you'll always be at the mercy of your RF environment. This applies to all WiFi.
  17. @lbautist Unfortunately anything that emits RF signal can interfere with WiFi (cordless phones, microwave ovens, bluetooth headphones)
  18. @lbautist That's correct, clients will switch to the nearest access point automatically
