Impressed to see that the Laconica bug I filed has already been triaged: http://laconi.ca/PITS/00168

mde Heading down to my mom's in Santa Fe, going to be dropping Hiro off for a week of VBS, w00t. :)
mde Crap, now that I've got the paint out, I have to do touchup work all around the house. Obsessive-compulsive disorder FTW.
mde Setting up a local copy of Laconica (http://laconi.ca/). Looks pretty good so far -- trying to get it running under PostgreSQL.
mde Back from Hiro's birthday dinner of sushi at Oriental Gourmet in Clear Lake. It's not Sasaki or anything, but it's palatable.
mde Taking the boys to the Nine Hells ... er, to Chuck E. Cheese. Today is Hiro's actual birthday.
mde Joint compound is the Perl of home-improvement work.
mde Sweet, they *glued* the shelf to the sheetrock. This would have been a 20-minute job -- now it'll take way, way longer.
mde Removing a shelf that the previous owners (amateurishly and horribly) added to the master bath.
mde Just finished making birdhouses with the boys at the Home Depot Kids' Workshop. They look rockin' in their wee work aprons.
mde Probably the smoothest, lowest-overhead trip to watch fireworks ever. No traffic jams, no crowds. And gorgeous fireworks, too. Sweet.
mde Settled on our blankets, fireworks about to start.
mde Heading over to Independence Park to see if we can catch some of the fireworks.
mde Back from taking the kids over to their neighborhood pool. Getting the chlorine off.
mde Hanging out drinking beer with the family of one of the wife's Japanese lady friends. St. Arnold beer, kids, grilling food.
mde Enjoying the weird histrionics of the twins -- they're strangely exhausted from staying up til after nine last night.
mde Reading up on YUI, and listening to some fine spacey jazz from Drop Trio, via their Web site (http://droptrio.com/)
mde Mowing the backyard while it's (relatively) cool.
mde Weed-wacking, edging to perfection.
mde Yep, bad battery.
