  1. @joaquin_win exactly. probably have to be JS solution. going to take another look at that masonry...hopefully it can be tweaked to fit.
  2. @joaquin_win not exactly. that way has no gaps, but i still want the cols relatively the same height.
  3. @joaquin_win not so concerned w/ same height. Just the gaps in the columns. Here's the page I'm working on: http://tinyurl.com/ltw6sq
  4. @joaquin_win yea, like what this plugin does: http://bit.ly/BI0Y6 but it doesn't work w/ ajax or page resize.
  5. @joaquin_win yea, that's what I have, but since i don't know the heights, some of the columns end up too short and some too long.
  6. anyone know an easy way to make a dashboard of widgets with varying heights automatically fit together? Like how mint stats looks.
  7. @gearvosh This will work, but you need the "js" in the path otherwise line 586+ of dispatch.php won't be hit. http://tinyurl.com/qrhwjt
  8. @gearvosh the file goes in /app/vendors/js/whatever.js, $javascript->link('whatever.js'). Lines 628-635 of displatch.php is the key part.
  9. @gearvosh I think you need the "js" level: "/vendors/js/..."
  10. @mark_story I was going to buy new Alexisonfire from Amazon, but then saw the last review. Check it out: http://tinyurl.com/l4e27a
  11. @1Marc It would cool as an addon for google reader...but having to having to run/host my own reader...eh.
  12. @Rob_Russell from what I've read it looks the most common approach is scheduled automated builds/continuous integration which runs the tests
  13. Was stoked to create an svn pre-commit hook that blocked commits that caused failing unit tests. Turns out it's not really viable. booo...
  14. @renan_saddam yea, I turned off comments on that page. I wanted it to be more of an information page, rather then a place for discussion.
  15. @mark_story Completely different sound (I think). A little soft for my tastes, but I like their one biggish song "The Funeral".
  16. This is best collection of links I've seen since starting the #cakephp digests. http://tinyurl.com/kjcab2
  17. Meant to check out Horse the Band, but accidentally got Band of Horses...I've been listening to the wrong band for two weeks.
  18. QA does an amazing job of submitting minor bugs that don't make any sense until you realize they completely overlooked the major defect.
  19. Coming up with a list of facebook vanity urls to go for tonight. #1 - "index.php" muh ha ha...
  20. New post on a bunch of updates to my #cakephp plugins and the free cakephp book. http://tinyurl.com/mc4gby
