  1. Barkley, I mean. Eh, whatev. Good-bye, Twitterden
  2. @ThugRaider37 defending himself against Barkely accusations, check it out.
  3. That said, Dash's article on @deadspin definitely best I read on situation, as compared to lazy "She's hot/crazy!" + vid embed. Slackers!
  4. Seems like comment sections turn into witch hunts at a moment's notice, a boys' club gone bad, when any female is mentioned.
  5. Overall, though, feels like sports blogs can't be trusted with stories on female athletes. Nowadays, if I have stories, I don't share.
  6. RT @Deadspin: Elizabeth Lambert Is Now America's Greatest Villain http://deadspin.com/5398883 -->Well-said, Dash.
  7. http://bit.ly/4yaXxF for those of you who decided you want to see next BYU women's soccer game on TV...pervs. :-p
  8. @cdbarker For sure--Payne seems quite the yapper herself, and gave Lambert the 'bow earlier in the game. It's never as simple as it looks.
  9. http://bit.ly/3YDMuk More Payne coverage--she's quite the physical player herself.
  10. Ok, and now the requisite honesty; Carlee Payne is pretty. DM me and I'll explain, ha.
  11. Thx to http://www.youtube.com/user... , s/he has extra footage with announcer comments--gives perspective on BYU/UWM/Lambert.
  12. @Diesel25 Seriously, that's just what a friend was telling me. The "snap neck" garbage about the hair pull was ridiculous.
  13. Don't know how many of you saw the Payne-Lambert confrontation late in game: http://bit.ly/1V1zUw
  14. @cdbarker You bet/I bet Vela was telling her defenders to "be physical" and "crack down" on BYU fwds. Poor Lambert listened too well, ha.
  15. @Diesel25 I mean, usually I'm the straight-laced moralizer, so for me to take the other side...people are way over-reacting.
  16. @Diesel25 What gets me is all the pious hand-wringing. "She should be suspended!" by people who never watched a game in their life.
  17. @depressedfan A bit, ha, mentioned that last night. I do like that would-be tough guys are realizing that women's sports can be rough too.
  18. @pamcar Ha! exactly. Without a camera, it'd just be another game on a field somewhere.
  19. @cdbarker Yes, exactly. You saw that elbow in Lambert's stomach--people branding her as a psycho know squat about how sports work.
  20. @TampaBO Can we car-pool to New Mexico to visit her? I'll bring snacks if you'll drive. haha.
