  7. Mesolow has moved ashore midcoast Maine along the Norlun trough and is producing veritable snowstorm in Augusta

  9. Windham ME reports 1" on grass, still snowing steady. Roads wet w/ some slush. Temp 32. Snow sticking to everything.
  10. New light precip developing Srn NH to NE MA. This will be the case thru the day - random spurts of rain & snow, mostly drops not flakes.

  12. At some point, mesolow is going 2 stall. That's where Norlun trof will light up and drive snow farthest inland. In process of slowing now.
  13. Radar analysis shows an apparent meso-low located due south of Boothbay, ME. This is interacting with the expected Norlun trough.
  14. Windham, ME, reports 1/2" on the ground, still coming down heavy, big fat flakes. 1" barrier will be hard to break for many areas.

  16. TS Ida upgraded to a hurricane. Winds of 75 mph sustained, gusts to 85 mph, located 60 miles NNE of Bluefields, Nicaragua.
  17. Report that Southwest Harbor, ME, is heavy snow; coating already.
  18. @trevty180 reports rain/snow Westbrook ME. Accumulations underway in Windham and E. Gloucester. Accums 4cast is 1" Lewiston N, 2" mountains
  19. Scattered raindrops and snowflakes. So far, flakes at Worcester Airport, drops in Boston, steady snow just north of Portland with a dusting.
  20. Likely to become TS Ida, the new tropical system should drop 20-25 inches of rain on Northern Nicaragua & Honduras
