  2. Alabama Education Association chief says charter schools are a "fad," will oppose them in AL: http://twurl.nl/w1gt6h #clueless
  3. @pspoppy I may have forgotten the details of the discussion last week - not sure I follow the 'great teachers are born, not made' line
  4. RT @nyedreform's Carroll urges Bloomberg to make UFT negotiations public. UFT calls for "impasse." http://bit.ly/2TnbRN
  5. 110% true. RT @ransomtech Wow... "Boredom is a sign of satisfied ignorance..." - James Bridie
  6. @johncecilprice Apologies - I don't have any idea what you mean. What is "socialconstruct-competitive facting" in plain English?

  10. @bryanhughes If paragraph width is, say, 65 characters, sans serif is fine; wider? Serif is much easier to process for the eye and mind

  12. @paulallison Paul, the question about your point wasn't rhetorical. #nwpdi
  13. @paulallison Theo Epstein [Red Sox GM] knows amazing baseball, but he's not a player. What's your point? #nwpdi
  14. John, that means your teachers sucked. RT @johncecilprice I learned nothing from school but words facts how to take tests & play games.
  15. @jstein Ohh, got it. I thought you meant the content/offerings. I've found little of value, but when I get something good, it's good
  16. Why? RT @jstein I really hate iTunes U.
  17. @shareski Seems like you might get some autodidacts who just don't need much of what's on this rubric - how would you address that?
  18. @shareski Have you had any sticky situations in grading for those 2 things?
  19. @shareski How do you grade for Social Learning, in 1 sentence?
  20. @GingerCM "Free speech zone" = *shudder*
