  1. playing with a Traxxas "Slasher" RC car at McCollum Park in Mill Creek
  2. First day in new office. This abomination sits in front of it. http://yfrog.com/09traqj
  3. Some nut is carrying on repeatedly about "James boss deli" or some such gibberish.
  4. Ugh, is the agenda to really spend 6 hours listening to practice talks since the network is down and the customer conf is imminent?
  5. @michael_slater which one is Ted? Those wankers from the EDGE? I loathe futurists.
  6. First day in the new office, move is still in progress. Network appears nonexistent. Sigh.
  7. @michael_slater so Lance "doping rules" Armstrong can be expected to come out of retirement every year?
  8. Spent the 4th patriotically: drinking cut-rate beer made in America and shooting cut-rate fireworks made in China.
  9. On the ground in Seattle, now just to get home.
  10. Train delayed so rented a car and drove back to Boston, to find out the plane is delayed as well.
  11. Against all odds, standing in a 100 person queue to get finger foods at the reception doesn't sound like fun...
  12. Wow, the http://manyeyes.alphaworks.... folks just did a great keynote talk.
  13. After two days at this conference sitting in uniformly terrible chairs I'm stiff and sore all over.
  14. Mmmm, how many people can share a single 802.11g access point? Probably not 500.
  15. Trying "twhirl" as a desktop twitter client. So far unimpressed. Bad mac look&feel imitation in pale blue. Gross.
  16. Mmmm, the 3.5 hour afternoon nap.
  17. Ugh, bone weary.
  18. Free wifi at sigmod, but all of the certificates are invalid and make firefox furious. Should I accept? At what risk? At least it's free.
  19. Mmmmm waiting for flight to Boston. Seatac has the atmosphere of a bus terminal.
  20. Somehow 15 minutes between putting out cash for the check and getting my change seems excessive...
