  7. Based on the preview Hillcoat's "The Road" is really faithful to the book. But it's not finished yet, why screen it?

  9. In Carl Franklin's "One False Move" a big city crime is solved by small town sheriff and an intimate secret provides the resolution.
  10. Google OS? Intriguing. Basically started where MSFT failed and went backwards.
  11. The wail of a whippoorwill near the house portends death.
  12. There's mastery in Mann's choreography, the limitless LA landscape against figures and foley in "Heat." And the dialogue, well who needs it?
  13. There are some killer mosquitoes out there tonight. They just bit me five new appendages around my ankles.
  14. Reading Mamet's "Bambi Vs. Godzilla" right now & while I agree with him sometimes, other times I just can't dig on his particular formalism.
  15. You know, I wasn't too sure about "Public Enemies" at first, but it's stayed with me. There's something to it, something Homeric even...
