  1. Just back from a nice lunch with Bob Thirsk. Space stories are always fun!
  2. Testing out the ULF-4 simulator with the ISS and Shuttle training teams and flight control teams. Fingers crossed for no simulator crashes!
  3. Testing the combined Shuttle & ISS simulators for STS-132/ULF-4. Hoping the simulator doesn't crash like it has the last two sessions!
  4. It has been snowing off and on here in Houston today! Yippie - bring it on, I LOVE snow!!
  5. Doing late night testing of the simulator that will be used for ULF-4/STS-132 mission training. Compiling post flight questions for Exp. 20.
  6. My entire Expedition 20 crew is now back on Earth! Welcome home Frank, Bob, Roman, and Nicole!
  7. Welcome home Atlantis and Nicole! We'll be decorating the hallways early Monday morning to celebrate the crew's return.

  10. Just watched a beautiful launch of Atlantis, my favorite Shuttle. :) Her next and last flight will be ULF-4, my mission!
  11. Finished my interview for the Rutgers Alumni magazine. We talked about my time at Rutgers, my job at JSC, and my two "Mars" missions.
  12. Just finished eating some very yummy strawberry covered chocolate birthday cake!

  14. Just asked to do an interview for the Rutgers Alumni magazine about FMARS and NASA, and I was also asked to speak at a TX community college.
  15. Spent Sunday with my hubby - enjoying the gorgeous weather and watching the amazing Blue Angels - it just doesn't get much better than that!
  16. HTV has been successfully released - whoohoo! Goodbye little spaceship, you served us well.
  17. My crew will release HTV today at 12:30 CDT. It's been a very successful mission so far! HTV will enter the atmosphere & burn up on Sunday.
  18. Had a telecon yesterday with Russia and KSC to discuss prep for new Russian module, MRM1, going up on STS-132. Cool stuff, but too early!
  19. Working a generic simulation to certify ISS flight controllers. My job today is to assist the crew - John Phillips from Expedition 11.
  20. Interesting class this morning on ARED - the crew's weight lifting equivalent exercise device. Reminds me of the cargo loader from Aliens!
