  1. Brrr! Postcards from Mars show a frosty Phoenix on the north polar plains during Martian winter http://bit.ly/2kCuf4 *waves*
  2. @NegativeK Seasons last roughly 2x as long as on Earth. Mars axial tilt is slightly greater than Earth's while orbit is far more elliptical.
  3. @elpalabrista Nosotros tambien :)
  4. Spring has sprung in the north hemi of Mars! Team is waiting for longer daylight hours, around mid-Jan., to "listen" for our lander.
  5. @Chaoticwhizz Only new content being posted now. Old content was used on May 25 to commemorate landing anniversary.
  6. 1st day of Martian spring (north hemi) is Oct 26. The team will wait til January (& longer sunlight hours) before attempting contact.
  7. More Mars ICE!! Congrats to NASA's Mars Recon Orbiter teams for spying ice in new craters b4 it sublimated. Story: http://bit.ly/1zBzoJ
  8. @martinsuchan The team will attempt to contact Phoenix once spring returns to the northern hemisphere. Spring starts Oct 27.
  9. @PlanetaryTV Nothing new from Phoenix at this time. We'll attempt to contact the lander in October (approx) when spring begins.
  10. @gdgtfreak Dormant on the surface of Mars, yes. But loads of good science still being discerned from the data Ireturned.
  11. RT @MarsRovers: 1 hour til start of live vidchat w/ rover team working to free Spirit. Join w/ your questions 6p EDT http://ustre.am/25IX
  12. A warmer, wetter Mars? Peer-reviewed science from my mission, published 2day, points to Martian climate cycles. Read: http://bit.ly/11JTjk
  13. @BekahLouTaylor Yes, Curiosity is on as @marssciencelab.
  14. @DavidWheelerPhD Here's the full view of Phoenix from HiRise. You can download JPG or TIFF: http://bit.ly/32mQe
  15. @vmbstudios No, but the angle makes it look that way. I was flying 20 kilometers in front of the crater & went right by it.
  16. @CosmicRami There was a 15 minute signal delay on landing day. Mission controllers go by "ERT" (Earth Receive Time).
  17. A few questions asking how the two rovers Spirit and Opportunity are doing. You can follow them at @MarsRovers.
  18. RT HiRISE 1 yr ago 2day, we took this amazing image of @MarsPhoenix descending through the Martian atmosphere: http://tinyurl.com/p2e6h4
