Thanks very much for tuning in this week. It's been a blast. Bags are packed & heading for the airport. Missing the family, time to go home.

Just taken a final, sentimental look at the 18th. Sigh. It's been a wonderful week. Turnberry, thanks for having me. Now, where's the bar?

The booze is starting to claim casualties. One bloke has crashed out by a green, a veteran marshal looks down and ruefully shakes his head.

The grandstands around the 18th green are nearly full. Don't think any of them can predict who they will see crowned champ in 3 hours time.

After being a hive of activity earlier on, the practice range is now completely empty. The packing up has now begun.

Jimenez happily chats away to the crowd while waiting at 14. The only time he would get stressed is if someone nicked his bottle of Riocha.

Big bottleneck at 14. Two groups waiting. Calc has a little sit down in the stand behind the tee and signs some autographs. Nice touch.

@ Speaking to a few people out on the course, it seems Watson has the backing of the home support too. What a story it would be.

@ Only had a close look at 2 of them so far, the 8th and 15th both accessable. The 15th is far more central than yesterday.

Appleby does some sort of caveman impression to Z Johnson as they walk down 16. Not a clue what that's about. Zach seems to like it though.

Sun behind a cloud, temperature dips. Just been called a wimp by a marshal at 15 for putting on a snood. They breed them tough up here.

With the wind dying down for the time being, there are birdies to be had out here. Lehman & Edfors get 3s at the 8th after fine approaches.

A few hardy souls are tucking into some continental strength lager as a short shower passes over the 8th green. Easy tiger, it's a long day.

McIlroy finds the jungle, and almost a marshal, with an errant drive at 8. Hacks out to find some more rough. Looks like a man in a hurry.

@ I've said Furyk all week and I'm not going to change as I've had a dream about him! Goosen? 6 shots is too much I think.

@ Someone who doesn't float the ball too high and who has the nous to plot their way round. Watson has mastered it all week!

Just had a look at the Met Office website and they are expecting gusts of around 33mph this afternoon. That will spice things up a little.

@ Wouldn't get a wink of sleep - I get nervous teeing it up at my Dad's club. That's the reason I'm not a pro!

Morning. Struggled to sleep last night, huge day ahead. Had a dream about Furyk though, maybe that's a sign. Wonder how Watson's feeling?
