  1. Zoe had "go/no go" ear doctor apt. today. It is an extremely strong "GO". Outpatient surgery to insert tubes will happen on Saturday.
  2. Zoe is off her allergy meds (Singulair) and on to a new/different reflux med. Here's hoping something helps. Ear tube surgery in 13 days.
  3. Zoe's physical health poor in recent weeks. Episodes have returned in full. Trying new things for reflux. Also, ear tubes are now certain.
  4. Zoe's ear infection is gone, but ears are still blocked by fluid. Recheck with Ped. in a few weeks. If they're still bad, back to the ENT.
  5. New eye doc 2nd opinion: Same as the first. Zoe's eyes cross, wait to see what happens. He did suggest trying patches, so we'll do that.
  6. Both of Zoe's ears are totally infected again. 10 more days of antibiotics. If it happens a few more times, she'll get those ear tubes...
  7. Zoe Update. Bad: Increased pain, "episodes" returning. Good: Gaining strength, almost sitting up. Next week: New eye doc for add'l opinion.
  8. I (Cosmicity) remixed Depeche Mode. Please listen and vote by clicking "spin". http://bit.ly/7VkI9
  9. Though the week wasn't bad, today Zoe had her worst pain day in many months. Not sure why. I just know I lost some of my hearing today.
  10. Fairly frustrating week with Zoe. Not much progress, lots of unexplained screaming fits. She did learn to stick her tongue out, though. :-)
  11. There is now a Cosmicity page on Facebook. Become a fan, get cool updates. http://bit.ly/vVmqz
  12. We did a 50% regular milk formula trial this weekend: FAIL. She screamed in pain non-stop. Back to the crazy expensive Neocate formula.
  13. Neurologist: Zoe almost definitely has a syndrome/condition. How to find out which one? More genetic testing. Always another doctor's job.
  14. http://twitpic.com/42zoa - Yes, this is Zoe pushing off the ground completely on her own - and even rolling herself from belly to back. ...
  15. Zoe had an excellent day today. She was clearer, stronger, and happier than usual. The bonus strength led to this: http://twitpic.com/42zoa
  16. Developmental docs: "We don't know the cause of her delays, but we're ruling out autism." Maybe Neurologist next week will be more helpful.
  17. Getting "official" results from Zoe's developmental docs Friday. I'm sure it'll be "we don't know". Also seeing a new Geneticist that day.
  18. In a bad loop. Eye doctor wants more neuro development before he'll do surgery, but Zoe's development is hindered by poor eyesight. AAARGH!
  19. No big changes for Zoe this week. But next Thursday we see the eye doctor again. We need him to take action - her vision is worse than ever.
  20. Zoe has allergies: Severe Mold allergy, tree allergy, and... CARROT allergy. That at least explains why she throws up orange/yellow veggies.
