  11. Currently in a Committee meeting in Westminster examining new regulations to guarantee bank notes in Northern Ireland and Scotland
  12. Told the Leader of the House that the new rules on MP expenses need to apply to all MPs equally - not treat new and existing MPs differently
  13. I have written again today to the Chancellor about the unduly restrictive lending practices of state-owned Ulster Bank - it is costing jobs
  14. I have tabled a motion in Westminster today about the deplorable treatment of Ulster Bank staff by the RBS-owned bank

  16. In the Commons today I raised the difficulties being faced in the recession by local charities in dealings with their banks.
  17. I met with the Irish Bank Officials Association this morning to hear their concerns about treatment of staff at Ulster Bank.
