  5. Last night, I dreamed my nickname at work was The Pimp, but politely asked my co-workers to honor my wishes and instead call me Homeslice.
  6. Went to Dave Horsager's book release party last night for The Trust Edge at Bethel. My sister Heidi was the editor -- I'm so proud of her!
  7. Lately, I've been fine-tuning my be-bop skillz while putting NWB to sleep to the tune of Pajama Time by Sandra Boynton. Bomp, chicka chicka.
  8. Just finished a new (simplified) design for http://vanilladraft.com/.
  9. Off to the Urban Orchard at FBC in downtown Minneapolis -- then to the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
  10. Ran the Autumn Woods Classic this morning at Elm Creek. This time, Mandy pushed NWB -- through ankle-deep snow and over sheer ice in parts!

  12. Excited to have started the winter tennis season tonight, but bummed I couldn't watch the Vikes spank the Pack.
  13. I love rainy Saturdays.
  14. NWB is getting a mouth full of teeth all at once which causes him to want to be held at all times. I love this little guy so much, it hurts!
  15. Ran the Plymouth Firefighters 5k this morning. NWB did great in the jogging stroller -- he napped most of the way. Really nice weather!
  16. The del Potro train has left the station! I'm calling it peeps, this marks the end of an era for Federer.
  17. Looking forward to a long weekend at Mille Lacs Kathio with the fam and some close friends.
  18. At the MN State Fair with the fam trying to find the Pot Roast Sunday stand even though I have no intention of eating.
  19. This week, I'm forcing myself to choke down my remaining chewable multi-vitamins so I can get on with the hard stuff: Flinstones Gummis.
  20. Ran the Mounds View 5k this morning, finished the Magician's Nephew (C.S. Lewis), hung out with the inlaws, took a nap, and baked focaccia.
