  1. Stupidest commentary on Chrome OS so far. Apparently he's never heard of a disruptive technology. http://snipr.com/mecd8
  2. Still in shock. Google OS. This changes everything. I've long said "Firefox is my OS". This could make it true (except chrome, whatever).
  3. Google launches Chrome OS: http://bit.ly/chromeos An operating system that makes the web the platform. Exciting. :) RT @mattcutts <!!!!!!!!>
  4. More on why display ads/branding online doesn't suck as much as we may think: http://tinyurl.com/nkbmh4
  5. Chatting with an SEM pro about a campaign with a bunch of useless broad vague words for management. Her: "oh, a CEO campaign". LOL!
  6. "display ads produce a 50% lift in Internet searches for brand terms within a week of viewing" Wow! http://tinyurl.com/kun888
  7. Anyone using gmail apps having troubles with people receiving emails?
  8. Just upgraded to FF3.5 (ok, so I'm behind the times). Am truly amazed at how much faster it is. Really VERY noticeable. Well done FF team!

  11. @MikeDoughtyYeah Beyond the universe it's all bears, an infinite number of bears. They are displacing the bears. It's a tragedy.
  12. Rejecting a bunch of candidates on oDesk (outsourcing site). A lot are rubbish, but a few are good. Feel slightly guilty. Is that odd?
  13. What is motivating Australian consumers? http://tinyurl.com/o34jln (RT someone last week, can't remember sorry!)
  14. DoubleClick 2008 Year-in-Review Report: Avg. CTR from online ads all formats: 0.10% (banners only) http://bit.ly/XAjXu RT @samuelstadler
  15. @libbyvarcoe BTW, tried 2 or 3 times to hire you to train internal people at different orgs. No sign off. Proves my point??
  16. @libbyvarcoe One part IME: personalisationxmlajaxweb20 is sexy and mgmt buys in. Hiring copywriter is unsexy (despite often better ROI).
  17. @FiBendall Aren't you meant to be out at drinks? :)
  18. pure comedy spoof gold.. "Hitler finds out Michael Jackson has died" http://tinyurl.com/ktxlrt via @AndrewBartlett @darren_sutton @sitemost
  19. @FiBendall Tempting! Be good to catch up.
  20. Train observations: guy learning English. In his phrase book: "tracks", "approve" and "homogenize". Truly a useful daily word.
