  17. Negotiations: for the actual offer/counter-offer, definitely don't lie or cite non-credible sources: bad for relationship, easy to uncover
  18. Negotiations: if you're asked salary requirements early, should defer diplomatically - "am open to what's fair for the position and work"
  19. Negotiations: if asked your salary history, should tell them/explain why it's misleading/weak. If lie or stonewall, can get in trouble.
  20. Negotiations: quote from Prof Dayonot "the law is what you boldly assert and is not challenged." so, be bold.
