  1. Set a maximum of 6 to 8 priorities each day. More priorities than this and you will become too distracted. Less is ok also, even 1 or 2

  12. Surfing the Internet at work can be a BIG distraction. Don't surf the Internet randomly at work.
  13. Identify what is going to make the biggest difference to your goals and do that thing first thing in the morning before anything else
  14. Create a separate instant messenger account for work and for personal use, and only use the work one when at work and vice versa
  15. NEVER use your email inbox as a to do list! For every email either file it, delete it, action it, reply quickly or put in your to do list
  16. Ask yourself this question: Is what I am working on increasing my personal income or the profit of the company I am working for?
  17. Create a routine for the morning where you do the same specific thing every morning including exercise
  18. Are your list of to dos real physical action steps you can take? If not think what is the next real thing you can do, and write it down
  19. Write down everything that you can't get around to doing, or is not important, be at peace with it and focus on the important stuff
  20. Be at peace with not doing everything in your life. Instead focus on doing the most important stuff and you will be much more effective
