  12. % missed deadlines correlates with meeting lateness. Don't tolerate the latter and then punish the former. Promote timeliness.

  17. We CAN host demanding and complete interviews that are ALSO pleasant and gracious. "Tough" doesn't mean rude or disrespectful.
  18. Look for upcoming Career Tools cast: The Career Tools Rule of 50. Be afraid if it applies to YOU. (I'd bet it does.!)
  19. Virtually all self assertions regarding pay and hours worked are overstated. Auditor Emptor. Verify or ignore.
  20. The whole Generation Y meme is DEADLY for managers. It's BIGOTRY. We don't manage groups, we manage individuals.
