  1. Most of the AM meeting was about swine flu (what I could understand). Half the school is masking up. At least we got soap last month. :(
  2. @woodalley It was lots of fun. The Kibi bike trail is in an area of Okayama Prefecture.
  3. http://twitpic.com/mu90y - On Kibi Trail.
  4. Excited for 15km bike ride today through rice fields, keyhole tombs, ancient burial mounds & temples and a five tier pagoda. Yay Kibi Trail!
  5. Random festival guy was about to take a picture of me w/their group but first did a shot down his pants while others said "small, small!" :)
  6. @secretagentmama I`d walk down the aisle with you any day. Oh, wait, different job. I`d stand up for y`all, too. Mr. SAM is pretty cool.
  7. I`ll never fully understand a culture that listens to the Carpenters. On purpose. 3 times a day. And without even appearing to feel enraged.
  8. @jearles You know I peddled cookies back in the day, right?
  9. @sandierpastures If we had decent insulation, it would be OK, but mornings are already cold without heating. I don't love cold. ;)
  10. Just filled the heater with kerosene and fired it up to test. Don't need it yet, but now is the time to make sure winter won't suck.
  11. I found sliced cheddar in tiny town. That's all that needs to be said.
  12. Seriously craving on of those mochi green tea donuts from Mr. Donut, but there isn`t one in town, and I think I`m staying in town tonight.
  13. @buchholzish Oregon's autumns are truly amazing. Makes me miss it so much just thinking about it.
  14. @jearles Yep, JET does a J-go course now, not just the fancy one from a decade ago, but regular courses. It's not bad. We'll see.
  15. Digging into the Japanese study materials that finally arrived. I use Japanese every day, but that doesn`t mean it`s been used well. At all.
  16. Finally got an explanation today of the festival I wound up at yesterday, and it was worth the effort of trying my best to understand J-go.
  17. @jearles Went to Kurashiki. Cute/fun place.
  18. Fun weekend. Now over. Boo.
  19. @jearles who me? ;)
  20. I think the wifi works! Everything was in Japanese, but I found some info in English that helped.
